Behind the Holiday Card

Every year, all of us here at the Law Offices of Charles D. Naylor take great pride in creating a special holiday card. Rather than sending you a pre-designed holiday card, we custom-design a card that represents and celebrates the maritime community.

Check out the pictures below to see how this year’s card was made!

2012 HOLIDAY CARD

A good holiday card starts with a great photo. This one was taken by Charles Naylor from his office window overlooking the Los Angles Harbor.

Step 1_Original Photo

With the photo selected, we crop the photo to make the Los Angeles Fire Department boat the primary focus of the photo with the containers providing a colorful background. Bright lights are added to the boat for a special holiday touch.

Step 2_Crop and Lights

A beautiful lighted tree is placed in the back of the boat …

Step 3_1_Tree

… and with some clever Photoshopping, the tree now appears to be inside the boat …

Step 3_2_Tree

… and at last, the tree gets a topper.

Step 3_3_Tree

For and extra dose of holiday cheer, we added a crop of trees in the background …

Step 4_Tree Farm

… and the card is complete!

Step 5_Final

Happy Holidays!
